Hi Baz
Yes please a list would be useful. Cheers

Ideally 6 coaches but The Palantine runs with 7 but then it is a premier service.
Mainly so that when the front of the train is on the viaduct, the rear end clears the tunnel.
Although I have only tried a few loco's so far my Patriot and Black 5's have no problem hauling 6 up the bank.

Oo-er - I'm going to have to ask the scenery consultant on that one! I think they might be the Ratio ones, with a few modifications. I'll get back to you.
the telegraph poles are actually the Dapol (ex Airfix) ones, with the top arms extended on the ones leading up to the colour light signal, these were painted red and were used to supply the power to the signal.

Looking at the Britain from the air photo it looks like the sand drier is on the left about level with the start of the New Shed, the ground and track in front of it certainly looks a lot lightrr in the photo

Hartlepool model rail show has been going now for 11 years, from our humble beginnings at Manor College of Technology, to a few years at Wynyard Conference Centre, we have for the last 4 years held our exhibition at the Hartlepool College of Further Education, in the middle of town.
Started by a good friend of ours Malcolm Priestman, who is sadly no longer with us, the aim has always been to raise money for charity, we are not a club and each year any profits we make a shared between local nominated charities, this year it is the RNLI and Hartlepool Families First.
This years show is on 22nd and 23rd October, 10am to 5pm Saturday and 10am to 4pm Sunday, there are 24 layouts from Z gauge to O gauge, 26 trader stands and modelling demonstrations.
Full disabled access, catering facilities. Parking charge (Saturday only) £1.50
Admission charges, Adults £6, Children £4, OAP £5 under 5's free, Family ticket (2+3) £18
Details to follow on this year exhibitors.

OK I thought it was time I posted something on this thread. As Graham has already hinted I've spent a fair bit of time in lockdown working on some of the buildings for the layout. Some in the posted pictures aren't complete yet but I thought I would share a couple that are.
The first build was the signal box, to be truthful I actually started it last year but wasn't happy with the results so started again. The walls are cut out using a Silhouette Cutter I use it to scribe the planking and door and window openings which are then cut out by hand. Each wall is then detailed by overlaying the framework using the scribed lines as a guide. This picture shows the completed structure. The windows are etched from No Nonsense Kits the stairs are Ratio.
The interior is detailed using 2 sets of the Ratio Interior Kit. Although the box actually stands with its back to the operator position on the layout! so you can't see it, I know it's there.
Finally the finished article
I am pleased with the result.
Next time we start on the buildings for platform 1 there's 5 of them in total but only 2 are finished so far.
