  9. Hi to All on the RMWeb Again...! These are just a few pictures that were taken over the weekend from the Talysarn Show; Shame there wasn't a better turn outs for the amount of Layouts that was laid on for views to see. There were some good Demo's by Peter Midwinter and RMWeb ???Bangorlad??? and Jason Edmunds on LED's and DCC Fittings. Back to a few pictures of the Great Tunsley Dale Layout, Any Questions, feel free to ask. Regards JAMIE
  10. Hi I have to say the night time scenes that you have are absolutely great, any chance of putting more up, also the Storage part where you have them all lines you on the shelf??™s looks a good idea to have. What size is the layout and how much space do you have to play with in the middle part...of your layout..? Thanks again Jamie
  11. Hi Just another close up of the attention to detail of the rear of the building, again Peter spent many of hours to complete this part of the building...! As you can see when Peter makes things like this, all pipe work have to have a purpose as to where they go or what they do, as some that I have seen have just added lots of pipe work that go nowhere and are just made for the looks, which is great, but with Peter's engineering back ground all pipes have a purpose and the pipes are normally colour coded e.g. for Fresh Water, Gas and drainage...etc, which just makes the look, that bit better. And looks absolutely great...! Peter as to have all the praise for the many long hours and hard work that he has spent on this layout...! Regards Jamie
  12. Hi All These are some early days of the building being built by Peter; There will be some more uploads of picture after the weekend as we have our model railway show held at Talysarn, should be a good turnout with several Layouts, so bookmark this space for more excellent Layout buildings that Peter as painstakingly done and spent many hours on... Well done Peter, if you have any questions please feel free to ask or if you would like more photos of a specific building on the layout just drop me a question on it and I will see what can be done...? This is the emergency escape open air stair well...very fiddly for Peter to achieve and again many hours of hard work went into this part because of how tedious the stairs were to put together... The finished emergency stair well...completed but by no mean finished as this was just one part of the building that was being done... Just adding the stairs to the other part of the building... As you can see this was on display in the early parts of making this building and looks great once it was added to the one end of the building... As you can see that the stairs have been fixed to the one side of the building... There are the photos of the detail at the back of the building, this also had taken Peter many hours to acheive the look he was after, shame because a lot of it can not be seen unless you look from the side of the layout as the main track works its way round the layout... Peter now turns his attention back to the main building after attaching the stairs and starts to make the front part that extends out of what will be two tracks... Now we see the finished building and which as now had a paint job and can now be put into the layout and begins to take shape and looks like a real building at this point... Now the rock face as been and painted as you all know Peter has a unique way of making the rock faces to which he then paints with several different colours to achieve the correct colours he is after and the scenery really begins to take shape and looks as if its belongs where it should be on the layout. Peter then finishes the flocking; using many different types a grass to complete the finish look and now with the building in place really looks excellent. Please feel free as ask any question about how Peter brings the layout to life with the scenery. Hope you all enjoy the pictures that get posted... GTD will be at a local show over the weekend so hopefully will upload many more pictures of both steam era and modern image style. Until the next time... Regards Jamie
