Hello everyone progress on the wagon is coming along nicely slowly getting there with each one
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the black square is on the body side of some wagons that i've seen
I'm still interested in the batch of cda numbered 375124 to 375137 so if anyone could help me with pictures of any of them be much thankful

just ordered some fox transfer stuff for the cda i'm going do work on. going pick a few wagon to do first starting with 353224 then 375130 and 134 from bodmin

Thanks for the info mate that great help

Think I said it earlier, 375000 to 375123 were the original 'new build' production batch, but then there were a few more which I **think** may also have been converts from HAAs - that would account for any HAA details and the chassis/bodies being the other way round on some.
So far as I can tell the production batch up to 123 were all built identically. This is a shot from 2001 I found digging through the archives which I **think** is 375130, but the number is hard to make out, it's another one with the body/chassis the wrong way though.
(Can't tell conclusively from this shot but I think it maybe has the brake gear underneath in HAA style as well?)
Yeah it does look like the breaking gear is underneath i'm really interested in really doing as many different style now
-
well i wasn't sure weather it was 353224 at bodmin but lucky my dad was there that year and looked at it today. i'm going have fun doing all the different styles of cda. would you no what for transfer pack the number are in for 353224
thank you guys for the picture been a great help keep them coming and i'll get 2 work on them soon
-
Makes sense if that one at Bodmin wasn't 353224 as it would account for the dissapearance/reappearance of the ladders!
<pedant> It'll be 375075 </pedant> but good catch!
That mod isn't exactly common but it's not the only one.
375092 also has (at one end)
375110 definately has them at one end only - novel!
375118...
All my shots currently online are here - i've some older ones to put back but they will need locating and scanning...

Most were shot in the mid 00s, there were some interesting livery variants at that time, various combinations of red/blue in framing and hoods, plus some other detail bits like yellow end patches and 'ghosts' of the ECC logo panels.
There's some detail shots in there too covering the roof and 'slotted' side, which are respectively rendered rather poorly and not rendered at all on the Hornby model!
<edit to correct photo links>
Yeah the Hornby model has inproved just wish they had done the hood abit better but hey can't have everything yeah will be interested in older pictures if you can get some for me.

Thanks will be a great help
