  1. The Sound options might be added IF we have any spare units, Decoders will be added from Legomanbiffo in the future.  Charlie

Thank you for the comment. Either way still getting one, as the EMT Sample saw at Warley/ Was offered to pick up. Looked Gorgeous.

  2. I do look forward to seeing people's photos of the APT E.

Although not ordered one myself (although I wish I did), whole APT project is interesting, as others said the rail version of TSR2 ( what's interesting its self)

It looks like a great entry to the UK for Rapido, I will be ordering the Sterling though and very likely the HST P. Also still tempted for there F40 and EL9 etc.

  3. Apparently the 142 has now reached EP stage with an example on show at Telford this weekend. Anyone got any photos?

I should have some, will sort them out after i've been to work.

  4. Just got home from the Diesel and Electric show.

I have to say the model is extremely impressive and smart looking, The samples for Scotrail and DRS are due in March and believe mentioned here the model is due Summerish time.

A example will be on show on a layout on loan from Dapol at Model Rail Scotland, in decals mocked up (Think was for Scotrail) to be ran etc.

  5. Hopefully will be some more examples over the weekend at the Diesel & Electric show at Telford, I shall be getting photo's although not until Sunday, as working tomorrow.

Still for these, shopping list is for all three liveries at least, with/ when able sound a DRS or Scotrail one.

  6. It was great meeting everyone! We had an amazing time. I'll post more in the "Excellent Adventure" thread, hopefully by Wednesday.

    We're zonked!

Sadly didn't get to say hello, as you all were busy talking to others.

All can say the APT E looks gorgeous and makes me annoyed I didn't get the FL9 when I was in NYC.

  7. The model looks great and wish Bachmann and London Transport Museum all the best off luck with it.

Not really my interest area, but if i had the money would get it instantly.

The price, isn't it more inline with Mainland Europe for model prices though? Not just MU's but Locomotives to?

  8. I hope MR are able to get a good price from Bachmann for it, as thats the biggest hurdle at the moment (Well said by MR staff on Sunday) Also mentioned that drawed most people over to the stand as well.

Although prefer LM i would be tempted to get one, if the price is right.

  9. "Very reluctant to let go, but at the price i've set i think its fair. Especially when we all loss up to 15% to fees for ebay and paypal."

    Bless him.

Joke price really. Currently a whole rake of Midland Mainline Mark 3s are going for £41 Or other FGW Mark 3s at less then £20 but those are not the TSO's though.

  10. The Bachmann club edition of the DRS flask wagons seem to be doing well at present, a couple on with the one below on silly money?

    More money then sense.

38-347,38-345, 38-346 Retail at £21 each on Hattons whilst 38-345A and 38-346A are at £25.59

Seems to happen a lot on ebay, on a lot of stuff not just Models, people bid far more then they are actually worth/ what you can get new.

  11. Those over priced Fastline locos (a 66 retrofitted with sound and a 56) are back now as one lot at an eyewateringly over ambitious price:

    Yikes...

    Massive Yikes

Some people have no idea what stuff is worth sadly. I would have thought buying a Bachmann Sound 66 and getting it repainted would be the easiest method? and a whole lot cheaper.

    Chris

  12. And 100% activity with this one seller -it is the clearest case of shill bidding I have ever seen. I have reported him but flea-bay are probably ovewhelmed so I strongly suggest everyone reading this does the same.

    Tony

You always get scummy Shill bidders, On the IC225 i currently got up, someone retracted the bid after a few days at the level it was at, But gladly now exceeding that though.

The prices that other person has put up the Fastline locomotives must be a bit high of something, as can't imagine anyone would pay that for them, I would suspect you could get them professionally repainted for a whole lot cheaper.

On a different note, Will be sending someone a another payment request, and if nothing comes from it shall be reported as a non payer. (They won a Blue Pullman on Wenesday and not paided yet, Whilst the others who won stuff that day paided straight away and were sent the same day)

It's amazing what you can save if you shop around!

Rather funny i think. Some other things i have seen was a Bachmann Mk2 TSO (Blue and Grey) go for £30 +

All the Tri-ang stuff & Hornby stuff (soon to go up) i am putting on ebay all have a large amount of photo's included, Including some extra if any damage and so on.
