Have to admit that I laughed when I saw the pictures of where the connecting doors had been. I worked on these locomotives - possibly that very one - when I was a summer student at the Inverness diesel depot (the old Lochgorm works) long ago, and still remember what a ragged job had been done when they welded up the doors. It looks better now than it ever did then - fine work! Andrew
