Think this has time warped from another thread? Or is it the DITD humour that I can't understand?
P
See post #5345 from yesterday on the previous page! It is difficult to keep track now, isn't it?!
Edited cos I got the post number wrong!!
-
Definately YES, where else are your poor workers going to read their daily paper in peace........
Yes from me too!
-
Or some Westerns, Warships & Class 22's. Or has that already been done in the dim & distant past of this thread. I forget....!!
-
That is interesting - I guess with the containers sitting out on deck for weeks on end there must be quite an accumulation of salt on them. Case maybe for a container washing plant at the exit to the terminal?
-
Wish i'd got a picture....
We do too...!!
-
That is a really lovely loco! And the photos are excellent too, Chaz, they really show it off to best effect - as well as reinforcing just how good your layout is!

I'll take the leaves off the trees then.......
Just cover them in snow - nobody will ever notice with all those loco's in the way....
-
Would St B. ever have seen that many locos on shed at the same time ?
Christmas & Boxing Day? Margam shed used to be pretty full then, back in the good ole days...!!
-
Hey Dudders
Hands off, she's in my garage tonight.....
Ooh good - does that mean you've forgotten about Nigella then....??!!
-
That'll be Barmouth.
Thanks. Don't know why it's familiar then, never been there...!!
-
Where was the pic of the two blue ones taken? I feel like I recognise the place, but don't know why.....
-
A few here in various scales, but again the confusing 1:43 - 1:32 labelling....
Once your "in" search with "Vespa".
That's the seller I first linked to Chaz. I'm surprised that none of the more established model railway vehicle ranges doesn't do one though, I'd have thought there'd be a market...
-
Thanks. Any chance you could post a photo?
Hope you don't mind another link, but it might be this one, also currently on e-bay (I have no connection with any of these sales links by the way, just trying to help - don't know if it is?!)

There's a Lambretta here;

- not sure about the 4x4 front tyre though!
And another Vespa;
There's quite a few on e-bay, so I'll stop now!

There's this one;

edit - just noticed it says 1/43 in the title but 1/32 in the description!

"I can't find a supplier of 0.04mm drills."
Sadly, I can't help, Chaz. However, if you don't mind a bit of a sloppy fit, how about 0.05mm drills:
www.drill-service.co.uk/Product.asp?Parent=020040080000&Tool=261
Good grief - £10 a bit - I'd probably go through £50 worth on one bike...!!
I think your idea of leaving well alone is best Chaz!
-
Photo Etched, I guess
Yes, sorry Chaz, that's what I meant.
-
I very much doubt it!!! The OP did say 'London'.......
I think the point is that some cyclist's behaviour is the same everywhere - & they don't have the excuse of being couriers!
Doesn't anyone do PE spokes in O gauge Chaz - I know I've seen them in 1/72 for military & aircraft dioramas, & am pretty sure I've seen them in 1/48th for the same purpose...
-
Be nice if they'd given it a red stripe....
-
Sorry to hear that, Keith. I do sympathise.
Chaz
Thanks Chaz - but I'm lucky, there's many people far worse off than me.

Is Swansea a lot further from the NEC than Eastleigh? The internet tells me that you are 109 miles from the NEC and I am 102. So unless you are planning to walk.....got to be worth the trip!
Health issues I'm afraid Chaz. Can't travel too far on my own these days. It is however, the weekend after the wife's birthday. Wonder if she'd fancy a weekend in Brum?! I'll work on it....

It will be a bit discouraging if everybody at Warley walks past with barely a glance....
Given the standard of modelling Chaz, I think that's an extremely remote possibility ! If I was able to make Warley, Dock Green would most definitely be one I'd be lingering at. Bit far to travel unfortunately....
At least I have your excellent updates & pictures to get inspiration from - thanks for posting!

Great stuff Jason! I've been catching up with your thread again the last couple of days & your last post is a neat summary of the superb modelling going on! I really like it as it's not just technically excellent, but it also exudes so much atmosphere as well - stunning work & very inspirational!
