  1. Hello Ian I am a bit if a novice as regards forums. so haven't had the time to find out how to post details of the layout. A few years ago, a friend who is an amateur film enthusiast, did make a short video for his cine club competition. This is on You Tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GDDRwpQz4k Otherwise, there are some photos on the 009 Society website - Members' layouts - Ghylldale John
  2. Dear All No replies to my pleas on this forum. However, in between building WW1 stock, and exhibiting, Roy Hurst, a fellow 009 Society "LAMPOON", came to my aid. Apart from repairing them, Roy very kindly added missing detail to the the locos, using drawings which Garry Whiting had generously given to me many years ago. Thank you both John
  3. After an unfortunate incident, I have three 009 locomotives which require rebuilding and repainting/lining. All three are body kits running on Minitrix 2-6-2 chassis, or variants. Two are Chivers Fineline kits; one having a plasticard cab, to balance the weight. The third is a homemade Arfix/Dapol "Pug bash", which I might scrap from embarrassment!! All the main kit parts were retrieved but some small details may have gone. I think I still have drawings of the prototypes, Hunslet Engine Company - "Beddgelert" and "Gowrie" Are there any gentlemen or ladies in the RM Web who might be willing to undertake these repairs, on a commercial basis? I need to get some quotes to the insurers quite soon - the work can wait until for a while. Kind regards John
