I have a four track modern image layout. Off my layout the 2 tracks of voyager line merge with dmu tracks to make 4 tracks and was wanting to know the normal running speed for the following groups
I have some class 185 158 155(55 or 56 unsure ) 153 I think all be same
voyagers(different speed)
And some EWS/db locos I have a 73(electric diesel) 47 and 37 +others and don't (no about bout)
I want to know there general running speed of the loco with respect to not a main line but a busy 4 track section.
My layout idea is taken from finsbury park a small commuter station(but in york Yorkshire) about same distance from terminus station but not a mainline more a trans pennine that type a route route
So do u know ether the average speeds or where to go or who to ask to find it out
