Hi Folks,
A reply from Dapol on Facebook:-..........
Hi Chris, this was in tooling but our new guys spotted some issues and we are now correcting them. It is really too early to say when the actual release date will be I am afraid.
This is good news as we know why it is later than expected.
Merry Christmas folks.

On the Dapol site the anticipated release went from first quarter 2014 to TBC (To Be Confirmed?) This is not good news. Anyone got any idea what is going on? Possible dates etc.
Must ask at Warley stand.

Hi Simon,
For BB class http://www.modelmasterdecals.com/SR_BofB_N_Blue.php
For WC class http://www.modelmasterdecals.com/SR_WC_N.php
For Headboards http://www.cgwnameplates.co.uk/page14a.htm
I have not tried these so I don't know the quality and paint to the new models.
Regards,
Chris

Hi All,
Right guys! the trains are coming! http://Dapol.co.uk/index.php?route=product/category&path=179_298_300_345
As it says..... Hopefully Q1 2014 and with the same time http://Dapol.co.uk/index.php?route=product/category&path=179_298_300_342
Coaches to pull too!
I have some private owner wagons to pull as well, So many thanks to Dave and Joel.
I do appreciate the good news of possible launch dates, like most other modellers, the advance notice to the boss in-doors, to release the necessary funds or work more overtime?!?
Best news I've had since the sun stopped shining and the rains came.

Hi Rob,
Hopefully it will go to the Bude show as and when it is on and if asked of.
At least it is not so far from Barnstaple (to Bude) It will at some stage to to the Barnstaple show subject to Richard penning it in.
Cheers,
Chris

Hi Everyone
Followers of this thread may recall that I began with a brief overview of my layouts including Bude Quay. This was my winning entry in the Guild's 2007 Diorama competition. I have finally decided that reason should come before sentiment and have decided to dispose of it to a 'good home'! I am offering it free to anyone who can collect. I appreciate that this could be difficult as I live in Cornwall but as I can't travel far at the moment that is the only solution I can think of at the moment.I have cleared this with Andy Y and have also included it in the classified, although not strictly for sale. If anyone is interested or wants details please PM me. Some photos as a reminder.
Rob
Hi Rob,
It was wonderful meeting you both and seeing your layouts on Monday. They are really a work of art.
As promised, I will take good care of Bude Quay.
Kind regards,
Chris

Hi Dave,
These are fantastic, The rebuilt looks cool. The tender drive looks neat. Have they sent the CADs for the rebuilt 5500 gallon tenders?
Hi Ian,
You have already bought them...... I must be the xxxxxxxxx Farish ones which beside these will stand out like a sore thumb.
Looking forward to them, when they arrive.

Hi Chris,
The buffer beam pipework is an 'end user' addition from the accessory pack, so yes you can.
Cheers
Dave (in Wales)
Excellent, Great opportunities. Thanks Dave, Has the CADs been signed off yet?
Cheers.

Hi Dave,
Will I be able to run tender first on these West Countries, if so how does this affect the pipe work on the front buffer beam. I have studied your picture on post 64 from 21st January 2013.
It all looks as though the pipe work is an add on feature, If not a delicate one.

When can we move in... Looks brilliant.

Love those steps... amazing. When did you say you are going in to 2mm n gauge? Enjoy the Beaminster show.

Hi Simon, Brilliant effort here. Looking forward to seeing it at Barnstaple. I can't decide which one is our Railway Club Chairman (see top pic - post 44) LOL!!!

Tugging at my heart strings.... They look brilliant. As for the two above posts 65 &66 You will have to rename by the looks of things, like myself for 34010 Sidmouth and 34005 Barnstaple both rebuilt. As well as some of the above too.

Unfortunately, Anglian there is not release dates as yet. One can only assume the we would see some if not all by the 31st December 2013 when the assumed new ?2014? catalogue is due out. Even if Dapol Dave has a date in mind, letting us know it and the factories fail to deliver on time is letting him down and unnecessarily letting us down. Sadly it is a waiting game, however painful. :-)
Dapol Dave, is there are release date for these engines?

I'm impressed. As Gerry said My wallet is very nervous at the thought of these great models - Well done to Dave and his team.

Tangmere's smoke deflectors look just right end on. Noting there were the three various lengths. Wadebridge's look so flat and square angled to say the least.
Osbourn's in Bideford are advertising 34019 Bideford as a special. No release date as this imho would be when things are selling in the main range.
Dave, It was good to meet you at Warley early on Saturday morning.

Hi Dave,
Am I right in thinking the ND208C rebuilt 34042 Dorchester would be with the correct 5,500 gallon tender when released?
Many thanks in advance.

Bude was an interesting show. I did hear the birds at the other end of the hall. Is it a CD or a download?
Your layout really amazes me. Lifelike. Keep up the good work.

Hi Dave,
Fair comment and thanks for taking the time to reply. My order is already in with the stockist.
However, I'm pleased that your and your team have decided to produce these. As the Farish ones are antiquated to say the least. They are producing a MN in air smoothed for £135. Perhaps they may re do their rebuilt.
Off to design my first N layout....................

Hi All,
Has anyone got this book? If anyone could post up a scan of the route, I would add it to the map already done. https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF&msa=0&msid=217632946174687534054.0004f213172d2cb60f317&dg=feature
Many thanks in advance.
