Dave / Muz How about the original Slab cab or a "mod" on how to convert? Also Dave, Do you have a general release start date for the WC-BoB's? Chris **Edited with the Tender sizes - Hopefully they would be correct ones**
  2. Dave, Any help you need regarding these babies please let us know. Help is always on hand. Revised v3 cads would be nice to see. Cheers, Chris
  3. Hi Dave, Thanks for posting, I too am eagerly awaiting to buy some WC's. I would like to have the "Southern Locomotives Ltd" collection too! This includes Manston, 257 Squadron, Sir Keith Park, Eddystone and of course Sidmouth. Are these being planned for the future?? Many thanks in advance. Chris
  4. Hi Ray, The last time I looked you were on the point motors..... Since then you have come on in leaps and bounds. You have captured the essence of a 1950's yard very well and you should be very proud of your efforts. Very little imagination would be needed to transport yourself in to the layout. I love the way the timber has been painted red, the leaves on the sheds, the feel is amazing. The scratch built buildings are brilliant (Watch out Mudders!) I'm going to put you up for the club's master-builders award this year. Keep up the grand work. Chris
  5. Hi Richard, I have really enjoyed this project from start to nearly finished. I must congratulate you on some very fine modelling. Perhaps, sometime I can pop over and have a running session and photo session during school time? Chris
  6. Nice trackwork Granddad. Timber sleepers veres copperclads? We will have to wait and see. I see you used foam instead of cork. And you bought some, I have some spare you could have had for Yarde. Are you getting new stock for this layout? I see you have an 08, Or are you using some of your Southern stock as well? Chris
  7. Richard, Modelling like this will get you banned from the site. You will cause an uproar in a moment. Anyway good work. See you soon. Chris
  8. Hi Richard, When will you stop...... You are just blowing my mind away with all this fantastic craft work. Pure mind blowing and looking forward to seeing the layout at the Barnstaple model show. Chris
  9. I always wondered why you were hanging around the back of my van! Eyeing up my cable drums!! They are very good indeed.
  10. Hi. Nice to see you have the Tuesday gang here.

    Regards,

    Chris

  11. I've found it! The plans look great now that you are extending the usable area. Good luck with Yarde Shunter. Chris
  12. Great pics.. Also I've always fancied having a real concrete hut, Dunno why really just do. See you Tuesday night. Chris
  13. Hi Richard, Little Chris's aerial photo is just the ticket. It shows the models potential very well. I do like your layout very much. Keep up the good work. Chris
  14. Brilliant layout, I'm sure it had a lot of interest. You should be proud. Well done to Grandad for helping out too. As for the rest of the show, I have had a lot of inspiration and ideas.
  15. Looks like you had fun at the Hayle show. I'm coming tomorrow to Exeter with a car full of modellers wanting to see your layout and others too. Laters. Chris
  16. Nice to see someone is brave enough to do this layout. I was there earlier today all in nice southern colours. What era are you doing? Chris
  17. I do love the inside to the shed, absolutely mind blowing. The fella reminds me of someone....... Keep up the good work.
  18. How's the enthusiasm going? Orchard Road is looking grand as well. I do like these small layouts, they do capture the imagination exceptionally well.
  19. Hi Mudders, Those trees look amazing, I just reminds me of the trees in our yard that used to be GWR Barnstaple Victoria Road station. They seem to line the perimeter with trees to disguise the fact a station is there plus it acts as a sound deadener. Brilliant work! Chris
  20. Who says you are going to be able to run anything on your layout anyway!
  21. Holy hot ash pans! that roller door is very realistic. Is it for show or does it really work! You do amaze me.
  22. Hi Mudders. I do love the shelves. Knowing you, you'll fill them up with stuff and make us jealous. Keep up the good work. Chris
  23. The sky light gives real feeling and the pallet trucks are as bad as the ones that used to be at Brian Fords Discount Store (Quite rough) Perhaps we can have a get together for the shows. Perhaps Grandad would want to go too! Keep up the good work. Chris
  24. Hi Richard, What a lovely set of pictures. Keep up the good work. Chris
