Day off work and Bluebell tomorrow.

Was great to see 34067 earlier at Haywards Heath.

Finally had Tornado through my hometown. Mind you I also saw her two days ago as well.

Thinking of doing the Cathedrals Express with 6201 from Euston to Kidderminster for the SVR Gala on 22nd September (2 days after my birthday)as a birthday treat for myself. Haven't been on the SVR since 1999, a railtour since 2010 and a tour with Lizzie since 2002.

Booked my Ticket for Railfest 2012 at York. Haven't been to York for 14 Years when I was about 6 or 7. Fingers crossed 4472 is ready for static display there.

Anyone know any reasonable priced hotels near the NRM in York. Planning on going to Railfest and NRM on eith 8th and 9th June or 9th and 10th June

So now I just need to see 4489 Dominion of Canada and I've seen all 6 Preserved A4's. 2 of which I saw for the first time today as well as Mallard again. To celkebrate I bought The Book of the A4 Pacifics. Roll on next year to see all 6 together.

My Mum bought me a Flying Scotsman 4 DVD set with Flying Scotsman (1929 Film), Tender Memories (1966), Australia (1988 and sadly already have) and A Year in the Life (2000). I just watched Tender Memories and was delighted to see 4472 steaming near Haywards Heath and a few shots of her at Brighton. A shame it was 25 years before I was born. Hopefully one day it can happen again.

Just finished watching Toy Stories. Britain beats the Germans twice today then. Yah

Watching the Red Bull Soapbox Race on Dave. Love that someones don Stephenson's Rocket as a soapbox racer.
-
It may be immature but been laughing at the name of one of the Marseille footballers called Rod Fanni. As Tom Baker once said in an episode of Doctor Who ''There's no point in grown up if you can't be childish sometimes''

Well wasn't expecting Tornado to spend nearly an hour at Haywards Heath on the way back to Lewes. Tornado Effect still in full swing as the car park has never been that full of people before when I've been down there.
-
Sat at home and watching F1 but strangely I hear train whistles and Tangmere has been through and not returned yet and I don't normally hear the Bluebell locos.

Was surprised to see in my Arsenal programme yesterday to see an article looking back to a previous programme from 1936 covering the news of the LNER naming the B17 2848 after the club.
