30 years ago today I was finalising plans for a trip to Glasgow Royal Infirmary (for wotk) - I eventually went early in the new year and passed the devastation at Loclerbie, a shocking and moving sight - reemembering the 270, 30 years ago

Driver Benjamin Gimbert and fireman James Nightall attempted to a munitions train away from Soham when it exploded, killing James Nighthall and signalman Frank Bridges. Benjamin Gimbert was seriously injured.
