    31296 passes Thurmaston on the outskirts of Leicester. St George's Tower next to Leicester London Road Station can be seen in the distance. After depositing its ballast train in New England Sidings, 31296 is re fuelled at Peterborough.

    No Neil, I should be so lucky ! The board is the old Eastfield thing I did, the 31 is work in progress and the Bachmann depot was purchased with the 2011 challenge in mind but not really had a chance to start anything yet !

    Cactustrain - I'll get my coat, thats superb, not a single thing says 'model'. For those who like a bit of sound & movement with their realistic image, come and stand infront of the shed doors at Eastfield for 2 mins.............. (extra 10 points to anyone that spots the lens cap on this one, ooooops !)

    Superb darren01, got a 'double take' from me ! 2 from me, a 26/37/37 line up, ( not awaiting the cutters touch at Vic Berrys ! ) but pictured stabled on Eastfield under a rare blue sky and followed by the 26 outside the as yet, un-numbered, no. 8 road roller shutter door.

    A Cold Start ! Snow softened up on this one & my first attempt at Clag !

    In keeping with the current weather conditions ! We have snow in Brookeshire aswell.................. ................and before anyone asks, its a combination of snow on a scrap piece of foamboard & track with the engine dusted in icing sugar. Body was detached after, washed and the loco is now running fine on my layout. I wouldnt recommend everyone starts chucking self raising flour and icing sugar at their best models though !!
