Hi RB. Only found this Blog via your pics, looks excellent so far. Why dont you start a thread in the layouts section I'm sure you would get more comments and people following your progress. The 4CEP and tornado look the business and its nice to see the scenics started......I really must crack on with my layout!!

There is only a few layouts that look as good in the flesh as they do in print; This one is at the top of the tree. I don't care if you don't like modern image. I defy anyone not to spend an age looking at this layout and still feel they have missed something when they leave. When it was at Darlington in 2008 I spent an embarrassingly long time just gawping at it. The whole thing just works, everything has a purpose. In short you can believe it's a model of a fully functioning section of railway.
Go and see it wher you can you won't be dissapointed.
