You could use Peco Individulay parts:
https://peco-uk.com/collections/individulay
or C&L parts:
https://www.clfinescale.co.uk/online-store/7mm-c32279084
to model bullhead track to any gauge you want, in theory.

Mine ran perfectly straight out of the box. It's only had a test run on a friend's layout, with a Gaugemaster W controller I think.

It was probably an 015.

Plenty in stock at my local Smiths today, weekend reading sorted. 🙂

Just looked in "Southern Wagons vol.2" and there also photos of these wagons with completely unpainted interiors, in SR days. So a mixed picture regarding the round topped ends.

I've also failed to record them. It could be an error, or it could be the channel isn't on-air on freeview at that time (like their main channel).
Either way I hope they get repeated at a more watchable time.

Railways then and now, originally published by Ian Allan Ltd in 1996.
Other recent films of interest were some preserved railway histories by Demand media c2011:
Bluebell,Swanage,G&WR,Avon Valley & Didcot.
As the current ones are repeats chances are they will be shown again.
-
It's also worth keeping an eye on their second channel, That's TV 2 (Fv65). This week it looks like they are showing films on Irish railways at 5am.

That explains it. If you go over 150euros (about £135) the system changes and you pay the VAT to the courier rather than Shapeways. As this usually means a collection fee it can be a lot more expensive.

What was the value of the order?

A box of tasty goodies arrived today from Derails.
There were also some wagons in the box.
Not quite as tasty but still very nice, and they should last a lot longer.

Ordered yesterday afternoon, arrived this morning.
Rapido indeed.

Well that didn't take long.
Every silver lining has a cloud.....
Next you'll be complaining that the wagons don't have double flanged wheels.
I'm happy to accept the compromises needed for model railways.

So far, I seem to like the look and idea of DG Couplings and Dinghams, the only 'downside' of the latter being that I need to join the Gauge O Guild to buy them.
An alternative is available from Pre-Grouping Railways:

of course getting through the bag search upon re entry to my house without my wife noticing I was returning with more boxes than I left with was a trickier task…
You need to plan your packing better, take some empty boxes with you to fill up.

0:16.5 “bullhead main line” track
in Narrow Gauge Modelling

I suppose 7mm, as modern FR track is quite heavy. I suspect 4mm chairs are designed to work with code 75 rail, while that might work it could also look a bit undersized.
