Tom, looking forward to catching up and seeing your layout, the  blue sky backscene  looks spot on to me; consider living with it for 6 months and then decide if you feel clouds would add to the effect. I too prefer curved backscenes, I am constantly surprised by the volume of comments on the backscene on my layout ( Vale of Oxbury ).

Matt, Again like the Hawksworth Brake I like the B Set in Crimson, you are building up a very nice selection of individual stock. The original maroon was very dark and this new colour brings the coaches to life. In anticipation of a simalar relivery project I have picked up Railmatch Crimson Acrylic paint from Howes.
