Class 66 doors: slam, slam, clunk, slam, bang, clunk, slam. Still won't shut. Class 59: shuts first time. Sums up the difference between them nicely!

...and when you book em' the fitters reply with sarcastic comments such as 'do not slam the doors, they just need a gentle push' !

The Class 66 has two door handles so you have to shut it once for each handle! The 59 is the classic one handle one shut design.
