  6. HI Phil I have used mostly thin plastic in the same way as above as well as same size card and have found them both to be ok accepting Pva glue and ballast also wet paint The advantage of using this method lies when you may need to either replace the point or relay the track David Wexford

Please rethink your move on removing the steel works back scene as in my own opinion this would take away the atmosphere of the S Wales scene My own recollections of my many visits to Margam Depot " those were the days " were that of a murky scene brought about by the emmissions from the steelworks by all means add a motorway Looking foreward to seeing your changes David

Hi All Just a thought if Hornby were to remove the body from for example the N Rail one and then offered the yellow body for sale would this not help I for one would be interested in purchasing a yellow body As an afterthought I scrapped ny faulty chassis not realising that Hornby were going to replace same what a dumbell !!!! David

Hi Dave Nice to see the layout comming back together I am sorry that I am living so far away as I would so much like to see it in the flesh so to speak My Parents used to live at South Tce Gt Broughton until the both passed away in1986/7 and I was a regular visitor both to Cockermouth and of course to Workington Station doing some spotting class 25/40 etc Keep up the good work any exhibitions planned David

Hi All Just rec my 350 238 excellent and a good price £106 from Hattons worth the wait just one possible problem I have encounterd the destination board only seens to work in one direction and does not come on in the other direction all other lights are perfect I have fitted a decoder have I missed something all coaches are connected in the correct order TIA David

  21. Hi Phil sorry for not explaining better yes the distance between the wheels is critical usually all you need to do is to widen the wheels by gently pulling them apart Markits have a handy guage that fits between the wheels and over the axle David
  22. Hi Phil Check back to back on the wagon that derailed having many derailments I always check the back to back measurment on all axels after purchasing rolling stock David
