I haven't overcome the window issue as it doesn't really bother me that its not 100% accurate, but if I place the loco the right way round on the track the window is on the outside of the oval and therefore I can't see it.

As for the weathering I haven't got as far as removing it yet but I know many others have without too much trouble. Renumbering is easy enough, I used T-Cut on a cotton bud to remove all the factory numbers as I found that the Fox numbers are slightly smaller than the Hornby applied ones.

The current Exford Park fleet:

50002 Superb. RNSE (dark). Untouched so far.

50003 Temeraire. RNSE (light). Renumbered/weathered from Lion.

50007 Sir Ted GW150. Added new plates with black backgrounds.

50024 Vanguard RNSE (dark). In works being renumbered from 50045.

50031 Hood Blue LL. As bought.

50036 Victorious Blue LL. Renumbered/weathered from 50035.

50046 Ajax Blue LL black roof. To be renumbered/weathered from another 50035.

50050 Fearless RNSE (light). To be renumbered from another Lion.

Possible addition could be an Early NSE example at some point. The renumbering is a slow process as any spare time is devoted to building the new layout.
