Thoroughly enjoyed the article and photos Tom -
Something entirely different, NO locos or wagons or coaches. Major Hawkins and his collies Monty and Ike chat to Porter Williams about the future of the branch's passenger service.
-
Majot Hawkins has been taking his two dogs, Monty and Ike, for a walk and decided to have a rest at the station and chat to Porter Williams.

As quite a few of you seem to like the shots of Blackney I thought I'd post one more ala Ben Ashworth.

I've not posted a photo on here for ages. So here goes 4 new additions to Blackney, a Bedford lorry and 3 wagons all kit built.
-
Unfortunately you can't see the tarpaulin on the back of the Bedford in these two shots, but I know it's there. A couple of new wagons have been built since I last posted.

Oddly 37114 they are in the making. In fact would have been done today but we took advantage of the good weather to do some early autumnal gardening.

Took a break from finishing the Bedford and on Friday built a Parkside Conflat A and Container. On Sat. took a braek from modelling altogether and took myself off to photograph a yacht race I have done over 20 times The Yare Navigation Race. sover 30 miles long. Wind was 4-5 gusting 6 ie over 15mph + and wet in the morning. A few of the over 80 photos I took. All powering their way past Cantley at near enough hull speed.

When I've finished building my container wagon and container a couple of crates will be next in line. At thr moment though the Bedford is waiting for the train that is carrying said crates to deliver to E Davies engineers.
-
Thanks Mr Wolf Almost finished I'm waiting for transfers to do thehead board and I still need to make the wing mirrors.
