Afternoon all.
I see from above the list regarding mk2s and names but can someone please confirm what an average rake would consist of.
Thanks in advance.

I stripped them down today and had a look. And found that they don't actually run in pinpoints. ,they run in a u channel . After some felting and oiling I have them running a little better .
Thanks for the advice.

No they don't run very freely at all. I will get them out and have a go the pencil. I may even add a little weight.

Evening all.
I am well aware that locos need to be run in but is this the case with wagons. I have four Hornby ota wagons which are running poorly. One thing up I have noticed us a different set up with the axels.
Thanks

nice to see the pictures of brandon box. I spent many a happy time drinking tea in there with one of the signal men. Its just a shame that it has been decommisioned. Bring it back online then we might actaully have a week of trains running without the gates getting stuck in the down position, Two hours last monday.

If it's the vans that I think they are they have been there for a long as I can remember.

I hate those bloomin sprayers, I have a site where the neighbour uses one each year on his fence, I'm sure it looks nice on his side but the amount of overspray is ridiculous, I have had to have words with him about using it and suggested he brushes the top 6 inches so as not to fire spray over the top onto brickwork. He doesn't think its a problem so I offered to spray his house the same colour to see how he likes it!
Brushing it on gives it a far more generous coat of stain and consequently a better job.
I has a go with one of them sprayers when ther was a very light breeze. Job done but a car with loverly green specs.

I thought that the lights may affect it but i did not have any on.

I have a problem witht the handset loss of connection with the base station. When i turn on the handset the signal drops out and after a full reboot of both pieces it last for maybe 1-2 mins then cuts out. I am aware that certain lights, television and other such items can interfer but it is being used in a room with no other electrical items turned on. I have spoken to two other people from my model club and they have bith had problems with one being sent back to the surplier. Have any one else had any problems and or offer any advice.
Thanks in advance.

I am lucky enough to operate a 0-16.5 , 7mm layout called "Creek Gone & Rattleswick and i would like to build a railcar to operate on his layout. I have had a look around the internet but so far i have drawn a blank and wondered if anyone had an idear where to look. the layout is located somewhere on the midlands/ welsh border close to a river estuary and in the steam era. Im have thought about scratchbuilding but my skills are a bit shakey so a model kit would be better for me. thanks in advance for any guidance.

Many thanks phil.
It looks like a case of modellers license then when it comes to a formation. But I see what you mean about photos there like rocking horse brains.
