Viewed the layout at the Blyth show today, looks fantastic in the flesh.

The display lighting is excellent, it was too busy to approach you and ask about it! I wonder if you would be kind enough to explain how you achieved it.

I have owned both new and old versions, for me the new one is light Years ahead, especially if picked up as a used bargain. I'm looking for a new style spare body to do in large logo if anyone has one?

Old thread this, but I have just completed the bulk of my panel, so thought I would post!

Track control is dcc, points and anything else conventional dc.

The panel is 3mm gloss white perspex, with some very thin whiteboard tape for the track diagram. Traditional miniature toggles, 3mm LED's mounted in chrome holders.

It has proved extremely satisfying to build.

Gordon, hi.

Your track...I notice you use copperclad construction. I have been using C and L plastic sleepers, but am finding it a bit too fragile. A couple of questions for you.

How much work is involved in fitting the cosmetic chairs. Is the strength compromised much....I presume one has to file quite a lot of the soldered join away to get the chairs to fit.

Secondly, how noticeable is the insulation gap once it's been cut into the sleepering.

Also, do you use platic flexi track for your normal straight runs....the rail height of this is higher with the chairs than soldered copperclad?
