That is quite amazing detective work. My ignorance is such that I had to look up the name just to find where it was.
Not so much detective work as coincidence.
I asked the same question a few years ago on another forum about this image I took back in 1982ish.
I´d never heard of it before either.
It was the 2 signals that I recognised.

Could be Woofferton Junction.

Hi Alex.
It´s great to see some movement on Boxenby.
The lathe looks superb. The washed out green colour looks spot on too. The first 5 years of my working life was spent operating CNC and manual lathes although not in a railway environment.
Keep up the good work.
Andy.

I had to pick my sister up from Alicante Airport on Saturday evening and as I had some time to kill, I dropped into the maintenance base at Monforte del Cid to see if there had been any change since I was last there some 12 months ago.
The class 58s have been moved back 200m towards the maintenance shed and there is now new rail under the loading gantry for use on the latest section of line towards Murcia so it looks like the locos could see some action pretty soon.
58020 at the head of the line up.
A panoramic view of all 8 locos.
A closer view of 58031 “Caballero Feroviario”.
A view from the east end of the base.
A few sections of the line have already had the catenary posts installed and the alleged start of services to and from Murcia is the end of 2015.

Hi Alex.
Looking superb as always.
I´m sure you and your Dad have the lifting jacks sorted but this could maybe give you a helping hand.
The tutorial is on this Spanish forum. (Google translator is your friend).

The motor and asociated mechanism can be found on page 3.

Andy.

Don't tell me that Mr. Walker was showing you a crushed coke tin and empty Mars bar wrapper that he'd planted on the signal gantry?

Well done Pete.
It looks good in the video.

Not a common sight at Kings Cross during the 80s.
This was the Stilton and Branston Ploughman on the 11-07-87.
See 6 bells Junction for the itinerary.
Celebrity pair 20064+20030 await the off.
Photocall at Deepcar.
And after a loco change, a nice blue pairing of 20126+20022 are seen here at Shirley
and finally ending at Paddington.

It´s looking superb Pete. All of it.
You knock up a layout in the time it takes me to think about, then draw, then "um & ah" a bit more about something like the lean-to!!
I´m looking forward to the 32 week roundy, roundy project!!

Hi Peter, I have been a good boy this year although Mrs G might not agree!
I have five Original Railfreight ones and a Coal Sector version. To be honest I do not know how many I would like to have eventually. Vince Minto of this parish kindly let me have copies of his note books from past depot visits to Toton. On one particular day in 1992 there were 26 class 58s on shed, that is a lot of Heljan 58s! Oh and a lot of money required.......
Being realistic, may be 15 to 20 would suffice. I still have a long way to go yet to get the fleet up to requirement, but luckily I have time.
Hi Chris, may be if I win the lottery! However, in reality another 10 odd would probably do. Especially as I am still short of 20s and 56s as well!
Still, I am concentrating on getting the depot finished first.
No more class 60s then?

Merry Christmas Alex.
Although I´ve not been too vocal of late (ever!!) I´ve enjoyed watching progress on Boxenby throughout the year.
All the best for an OCD free 2015!!
Andy.

Very impressive Pete.
I especially like the tarmac colouring. It looks spot on to my eyes.

I picked up this FS liveried ferrywagon a few years ago on a trip to Germany.

There are some height comparison pictures at the bottom of the thread.
Electrotren here in Spain dropped their prices a couple of months ago and one of the items was the 3 door bogie van you´ve aquired already albeit in a livery (RENFE Agricultural) that wouldn´t have strayed onto foreign parts.
They were going for between 17 - 20 euros which is a bargain compared to the 28-29€ starting price.
See here,

I saw this and thought of you CP lovers on here.

Thanks James.
The only place these photos have been aired is on my photo thread on the BR Blue forum until now.
It was a cold day from start to finish IIRC.

Some from a dreary looking Sunday at KX. 15th November 1981.
Alycidon stabled in the eastern sidings with a class 46. Pinza is just visible behind the Peak.
Here is a fuller side on shot of both 55009 and 007 taken from half way up the ramp to York Way.
Pinza can be seen backing onto the stock for the 14:03 departure. (I did say it was a dreary day).
And 3 more of her sat awaiting departure.

Three photos from my home town of Hatfield. All have that Kodak 126 mistyness unfortunately but great memories all the same.
Tulyar on the 14:03 out of KX IIRC passing under the Red Lion bridge on 8th December 1981.
The Addo building was still standing at this time.
Photo taken from the western side of the Wrestlers bridge that collapsed some 16 years prior.
55021 leans into the curve just to the south of the station heading northwards on 5th December 1981. I believe there is now a small memorial close to this spot for the victims of the accident that was to occur there some 20 years later.
An unidentified Deltic roars through the station northbound sometime between 80-82

Top photo maybe Bo'ness? I can see an LQ signal.
I was pretty sure it wasn´t Bo´ness as I´ve never been there but thanks all the same PinzaC55.
Nah, it's Wansford on the Nene Valley.
She's on the same line as the Alco, BR standard 'City of Peterborough' behind.
C6T.
Thanks Classix T.
To tell you the truth, I didn´t know I´d ever visited Wansford either except for passing on the A1!
I did wonder what sort of loco 55016 was stabled next to.
Thanks.
