  3. Great work Paul!! In the words of Boris Johnson...." Veerrrry Nice !! " Steve
  4. You have captured the look just as i remember them lined up at Allerton TMD back in the day! Fantastic..Well done. Steve
  5. Its coming along well Paul... I do like the vertical strokes on your last photo! Looks like the topcoat of paint has been through the wash plant a few times too many.. and the undercoat paint is starting to show through! Steve
  6. Hi Paul, Them bogies and chassis look the part... right down to the oil streaks down the tank sides! Steve
  7. Sorry for the poor quality and composition of these shots.. I only had a minute spare and used my camera phone. All taken 12:15 today. The engineers seemed to be concentrating the efforts on the first and second locos in the line up and making a start on the third. All three on rails.. First loco in the line.. Second loco with roof panel opened. Cheers
  8. Having passed by the docks on my way home at 17:00 I could see that the 3 locos have been moved. I could not see if they were on the rails but the engine room hoods/ doors were open and being worked on. One loco had been moved closer to the rail entrance to the container base making it easier to view from the public highway. cheers
  9. Zicemanuk Yes I will agree with you regarding a reply from Hornby via Email. Once I got my reply I had a small query about a code that they required as my box did not have it. So, I gave Hornby a call and the matter was sorted out.. the guy was very helpful and reassuring. Like you mention, may be a quick call to Hornby is the way forward. Steve
  10. I received my new chassis and body today.. I was very surprised as I had only sent the damaged loco ( 31 270/ R2413 ) to Hornby 7 days ago by 2nd class post!! Well done Hornby!! Steve.
