  1. I think the packaging is your friend here Mol. M5s and nearly all the half tracks used by British forces (M9, M14) had a curve where the body side joined the rear face, (If indeed these are destined for British and Commonwealth forces). US forces used an awful lot of M3 and M3A1 half tracks which are square at the back. The mudguard at the rear has this curve. The packaging disguises this and that around the top will also help. Very interesting pic, thanks for posting.

  2. The GWR Saint, Court and Ladies are glaring omissions from the big green loco lists. They would be hotly pursued by Bulldogs and Birds. GE modellers are way overdue a decent E4, GC fans J10, C13 and D9 and NE and Scottish steam fans just about anything at all. ex LNWR 4-4-0s. It looks like Dapol are staring to address the lack of GWR pre grouping coaches, there are so many opportunities for all the other companies. I agree we are spoiled though..... 😆👍

  3. Compared to the Hornby clerestories, it looks like both of these examples have had all (2nd photo) or most (1st) of the beading around and between the door vent hoods removed?

  4. If you Google oo works you will find their website, which gives plenty of useful info. They have been around since 2001 and produce rtr limited runs of the kind of locos the big manufacturers don't often do. Currently they are gearing up to make The Aspinall 27, they have done quite a few LSWR types, GC C13 4-4-2 tanks etc. There are good photos of previous models on the site.
