About 4-5 years ago I bought quite a bit of stuff* from RMS, both by mail order and at shows.
It looks like he retired in 2016. Does anyone know if the range was continued by anyone else?
*The range was trees, static grass etc

Movement length or possibly wire length
Thanks John, I'll give it a go.

You need to adjust the movement using the buttons for the servo that is juddering, you may at times require more than one go at this.

John
Do you mean the swing/length of movement or the speed?

Having caught up with this topic I tought I would dig out my Peco SmartSwitch set and have a go.
I managed to set it up correctly and the servo arm moves, but it has a juddering effect. Is this normal or have I missed something?
Any comments would be appreciated.

Dapol have advised on their website of a potential issue with the headlight operation being reversed when operating in DCC. I've copied their advice below:
We have found that on some OO Class 73 models, when used with DCC the locomotive headlights will operate in reverse.
If you experience this, then we suggest you set CV 29 to an odd number i.e. Read CV 29, if even, then add 1 and re-program to that value. If the number is odd, then subtract 1 and re-program.
Alternatively, if you feel unsure of performing this yourself please contact Dapol on sales@Dapol.co.uk or 01691 774455 and we will make arrangements to have the necessary adjustments made.
To confirm, however, in DC operation the locomotive performs as it should do
I had this situation on my Blue Large Logo one when I used a ESU V4.0 non sound chip. When I replaced that with a cheapo gaugemaster 21pin chip, the lights work in the correct fashion!

Second time of asking, all seems well, no motor problems, Dcc fitted and running fine, both front and rear bogies seem a little 'light' and are fond of wandering off following their own agenda, back to backs were out but still have same problem. I think a little lead fixed to the bogus should do the trick.

Can you confim this solution for wandering pony trucks works please, once you have tried it please? I have the same problem. I tried releasing the screw thast holds the pony truck on, but that didn/t make any difference.

Has anyone wired up these signals using a Peco PL26 point lever, and if so, can you advise how.
Regards,
Brian
Yes. One yellow wire to the centre contact, the other yellow wire to both of the remaining contacts. Due to the construction of the Peco switch (passing contact effected on one side only at a time for each throw), when the Peco switch is thrown, the contact is made once, hence changing the Dapol signal to "off". Throwing the Peco lever back makes one contact again, hence returning the signal to "on". I have found that throwing the Peco switch needs to be done slowly.

Forgive me if this seems a little simplistic, but I think the problem here is one of perception of what the service provides.
To me a pre-order is simply a way to ensure that you get one of a limited edition production, from that supplier. I would not expect it to guarantee special treatment and get it before anyone else etc - You're not paying any more are you? As long as credit cards are not charged until the normal point of getting ready for despatch all a pre-order does is allow you to put your hand up in advance and say "please Sir!"
Anyway, that's my take on it
As one who is also awaiting shipment of Lion from Rails, I would agree with you, but having taken my money 2 weeks ago, it is not acceptable. No more orders from me unless there is no alternative.

DY444 you beat me to it! I fully agree. After reading this thread a couple of days ago. I retreived my class 56 and tried to run it. It didn't move! I thought at first it was the motor, so I took that out and it worked fine. On examining the gear towers, i found that both of the outside bearings had siezed solid, for the reasons given. A thorough clean of the whole of both gear towers, relube and all is well again.
