I have just bought two Hornby locos, R2448 Lady Patricia and R2542 City of Wells, both say DCC ready on the box but the instructionssay nothing about a chip.

Are these locos DCC ready or not ?

I have bought a DJ Models J94 loco,what DCC chip would everyone reccomend to fit in it.

I looked at it in WHSmiths, but did not buy it because of the very poor  paper quality, I bought Hornby Magazine instead.

Just seen them on the RAILS website.

I see in the Feb Hornby mag there class 50 TTS sound chips on the way .

On looking at the Hornby website there is nothing about them.
