Removing Hornby class 67 body in Modelling Questions, Help and Tips Posted February 27, 2010 Hello wanting to strip down Hornby Class 67 diesel, how do you remove the bodyshell? This is a new model of the royal train loco not the older reissued Lima version where the body was held on with clips at the side. Unfortunately the instructions refer to the Lima reissue not the 'new' one. The tank unscrews from the bottom but how to remove the shell? it looks like one moulding. Has anyone on the forum done this? Regards Richard.

wanting to strip down Hornby Class 67 diesel, how do you remove the bodyshell?
This is a new model of the royal train loco not the older reissued Lima version where the body was held on with clips at the side.
Unfortunately the instructions refer to the Lima reissue not the 'new' one.
The tank unscrews from the bottom but how to remove the shell? it looks like one moulding.
Has anyone on the forum done this?
