Jon, in the nicest possible way - you need to get a life!! ;-)
The Cravens looks very good and is definite food for thought when i eventually get round to spraying my kit. I did give serious thought to upgrading to the Bachmann model, but with the kit complete, bar painting, i have decided to stick with it (for now at least).
Superb work as always!!
Best wishes

May i kindly suggest, you get a life??? :D
You have far too much time on your hands and you're making the rest of us look bad!! ;-)
Seriously mate, another cracking model - think i'll start shipping my Deltics down for you to work on!!

Hi James
Can i suggest, if you have gone to the trouble of flattening the nose, you replace the windscreen surround too? It appears from your photos that you are still a way off getting the nose to the right profile and the window etch will help you sort this. Plus it does look very good when fitted!
Keep up the good work.

I have my pics ready but the disappearance of Fotopic has stalled them

That looks spot on Jon!
I have not got round to putting the steps in myself, as yet - plan to do them in batches, but the plasticard does the job well.
I'm off to see the old ladies tomorrow, as i have to meet up with Martin at Bury, i shall pass on your best wishes!

Hi Jon
Good to see the progress coming along! I sat down tonight for the first time in a fortnight, i've now got 5 bodies in various stages of work (I now know i'm insane and not just mad!!! )
I made exactly the same mistake on my first dealing with the door plates. If you're very careful with a pin vice, you can drill out the back of the recess without damaging the plate ir the delicate handles. Having spoke to Brian, the best thing is to put some plasticard behind the body once you have positioned the tread plate.
If i don't speak to you before have a very happy new year, and we'll catch up soon!!
Best wishes
