Yes i saw that Black, but i think that the buildings would be far to thin and would appear to have chimneys front and back. Granted they should be simple enough to bash about, but an off the shelf version would be handy.
A good gasometer would be a great space filler too!

Any chance of making a set of full depth shops from the Low relief fronts and backs? I've got a very large town area that needs plenty of buildings!!

Well done that man!
Thanks Debs, although to be fair he did sleep through most of the experience!!
I'll be trying again on the Penzance trip later this year!!

Rod, nice photos! Any idea where at KX the second shot is; I can't place the single road buffer stop.
Rob, nice to see you posting that superb photo on here - the new time absorber of your life with the old girl that took quite a bit of it previously (and still will I guess)
Jon
The old girl will be taking plenty of my time, as soon as get my knee sorted! We've got 2 tours to get her ready for and of course not forgetting Gordon!!

My first memory of the Deltics was as a child with my dad at Finsbury Park. My grandparents lived in Kent and when we used to visit them my dad would take me all around London and the South East spotting. I was very young for most of it and don't really remember seeing the locos at KX but i definately recall standing, head tilted skywards as i took in the sight of 55004.
From the rough dates i would have been around 4 years old and obviously the sheer size of the noisy beast has left a lasting impression on me! i still get the tingle whenrever i hear a deltic, be it screaming along the mainline, shunting at the ELR or even putting out fires on the GWML!!!!

Hi Richard
What a lovely looking layout!! It has come a long way from the early shots and some of the little scenic touches have really brought it to life!!
Keep up the good work

Had a wander along the bank at Toton recently, a very sorry site as over 3/4 of the class are dumped and left to rot!
