I am trying to find a guide to a non dcc Bachmann Jinty. The ones that most websites list seems to have been deleted, none of the links for it work. Any help appreciated. This is my first ever foray into dcc.

Beautiful locos Ken, what make are they? Are they RTRs or were they kits?

The other alternative is to make your own. Its a flat small object with detail on one side only and the same outline both sides. If you wanted to take the plunge into etching either using a pro etcher or using the laserprinter and dunk tank method its probably the perfect starting adventure.

Alan, i'd be prepared to give it a go, would never have got into O gauge if i wasn't prtepared to try, thanks for that. Any pointers, i wouldn't have a clue where to start, e.g.materials, artwork/software, method etc, basically i haven't come across anyone who has done it themselves, so help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. Not sure about commissioning custom work, had a quote from steam and things, makes it seem uneconomical getting them from down under! Anyone had anymade over here, wondered about the cost?

Just wondered if anyone could recommend a good maker of etched plates? Am modelling GER and LNER.
