The green one is now in the "New for 2014" section of Hornbys web site along with a whole load of other non released items from 2013, 2012, .....Meanwhile on ebay the green ones are apparently in stock and one has been sold!
Jadlam Racing again !!

I'm waiting for two Green ones.
Etched Plates from Narrow Planet ready.
Just need some La Farge Transfers to go over the Tarmac logos

Units!
175 fairly wide area of operations, North west, Wales.
323 bit of variety in colour two main areas of operation.
Really suprised no one of the big boys have ever had a go at PEP family, 313, 314, 315, 507, 508. I know it would need a number of sides, there being many subtle differences in window arrangement and roof detail but the overall shape and look remain constant. Loads of liveries a long life with years still left in service wide sphere of localised operation.
175 in ATW pplease

00 Gauge
FEA - A with various Modules to enable multiple RHTT configs.
Freightliner MJA Bogie Twin (Just in case Dapol don't get round to it)
Thanks

I was actually a 15 year old volunteer at Dinting and actually Cleaned and Fired on the loco.
I have my own Dapol Model of "Warrington" in my collection.
Fond memories of giving brake van rides.
Shame about the site

Tarmac x 2 for me !

I was the same Mike, only wanted the DRS pair, in the email from Jamie Walsh yesterday you can read her own personal disappointment the way this project has crashed.
I'm not keen on Vi-Trains products so I'm hoping it doesn't go that way, but good luck to them if they take it on, I'm sure we will soon find out.
I agree Martin - All of my Vi Trains 37's were replaced with Bachmann ones after bits kept falling off.
I stuck to Heljan for my 47's eben though there a bit wider than they should be.
I have a Heljan 33 207 in West Coast and to be honest really happy with it.
Just a shame Heljan appear to have given Phil and Jamie the runaround.
We'll see what transpires ??
-
On one hand a bit disappointed, however only want the DRS Pair so happy to wait.
-
Assuming I could find one anywhere
Could the 00 D1029 Western Lgionnaire be modified with NRN Pods and up to date WArning Flashes and Name and Number plates to represent Westermn Champion ??
-
Are Dapol going to bring a Model of this one out ??
-
Andy's given his blessing for me to post this pic that he took of the grinder on Pete Harvey's "Peter's Street"
Frankly I think he's having us all on and he's photoshopped a picture of the real EU1 onto Pete's layout
Seriously though, having seen the model today when it was handed over to our Sales Director I am truly impressed and Pete has surpassed all expectations in this project
All I can say is awesome !
The results of this will hopefully give rise to a few more on trackplant items
I think it's time to look at upskilling myself in the art of soldering and working with etched brass !
-
Ive got 66846 and 56105 on the return working of 6X60 later from stoke, should be fun!
Then tomorrow its 56105 over to chirk to go back on the lo
Are you coming through Stockport, if yes what time??

Mike,
According to the Hornby Website 3rd radius is 505 mm; 4th radius is 572 mm. I believe that these figures relate to the centre-line of the track.
Regards
David
Thanks, never thought to check website...Doh!
-
Can anyone tell me what the actual radius of these are
Toying with the idea of using tracksettas and Flexi but wonder if it would be better to use fixed curves?
Mods - Please move if not in the right place
Thanks
Mike

Right Ok
Bachmann Class 57 "Lady P" just gone for £137.00 plus Postage
Renumber and name project put on hold.....
At least until Bachmann do another run.....please !

I've just had a quick look at Precision's website and admit I am impressed. However I want some custom transfers, and do not feel up to designing them. If I supplied a broadside photo, and basic colouring, would they do them? The 2 subjects I want are (1) alternative numbering/letters for a Model Rail Sentinel (2) department No.91 & cabside lettering to renumber a Bachmann green 03. Neither are particularly complicated I would have thought.
Stewart
Best thing to do would be to email John and request a quote
-
Cheaper to buy a new yellow one....... and repaint into DRS blue
Cheers,
Mick
Yes but when the DRS one never got round to working a Pendolino drag on the North Wales Coast. I need Virign Liveried ones
Want to do 57 309 "Brains" and 57 311 "Parker"
Guess I'll have to scour Trade stands at the exhibitions as Ebay is way too expensive !
-
OK another Delner Virgin 57 gone for over £100 !
Time for Bachmann to bring out another version me thinks
I want two to renumber/rename but can't justify £100 +
-
My DRS Class 66 numbers all sorted
John really is good !
-
I have to be honest there are some strange goings on.....
Prices seem to follow no particular trend and it would also seem Evo Stik has made a comeback. I mean £250.00 for a Bachmann 40 WTF???
I'm looking for certain models to add to my collection and also some to rework into other locos, I appreciate that some of it is the luck of the draw but I thin there is some tat also and possibly even people bidding who don't have a clue !
-
doesn't look like I'll be getting mine as they don't arrive till tomorrow and their only getting 9 !!!!
Last time I pre-ordwer with Modelzone
Well I take it back, I'm one of the lucky 9
