    Well hacked off, totalled Landy yesterday and now insurance company tells me it's only worth £100. Goodbye savings, new car needed. Grumpy mood for rest of week, why the heck did I give up smoking.

      Don't believe what the insurance company offer. Find several examples of similar condition, similar milage vehichles - They should pay what it costs you to replace like-for-like.

      (I managed to get a 120% increase over an isitial offer after I had an accident.

      Definately try for a bigger sum. Some nice person totalled my wifes 205 CTI and the insurance offered £450. I argued it up to 700 then bought the rest back off them for £50. Repaired it and sold it for £600. Don't give up!
