The CD isn't needed to run the software, the software is downloaded an an evaluation version from Hornby. You then need a license key to activate and get full use of the software (which I have misplaced).

Thanks for the reply. I have had a license previously, attached to the setup disc, which I no longer have. I don't wish to purchase a new license as I've already paid at the time of purchase of the product. 👍 if I contact Hornby I feel all they'll do it want to charge me (again)

Not sure if this is officially allowed but does anyone have an activation key I can use to activate the Railmaster software? It seems comical it isn't downloadable as a fully activated program as I have the hardware just can only use two loco's at once. Many Thanks
