  1. Lesson learnt with varnish on inkjet printed scalescenes - diorama made of such is now scrap due to varnish lifting all ink. Not sure if recovery is an option.

      Paper? possibly. Not sure... but then bending this would not be as easy. Varnish... hmm, used railmatch ... to waterproof it all. That's my problem. Last night, after friends had left (after wine consumed) I thought about the problem. Wondered about how to stick new top sheet accurately. Settled for use of pritt stick which allows some repositioing ... and it's almost all redone. I will need to varnish it again, but this time I will use the humbrol hobby spray (which worked before) an...

      Will do Pete. Followed DonB's advice and added a thread and used fabric waterproofer - not from Lidl as suggested (they didn't have any) but the kiwi stuff we already had. It works on test piece. Board covered in printed sheet back onto the existing messed-up card - with Pritt to allow repositioning... which went on ok late last night (even after a couple of bottles of wine), finished this morning.... and stuff applied, now drying. Will look to ballast this week once the fueling point...
