    Phew! Last etch fitted to Bach 47 body - cab side screens and door windows. Thin, but nice. Hoping for some warmer weather now so that I can get some primer on.

      ... fitted manufacturing plates too. Don't tell anyone, but I brought the wrong ones; convinced that oval was Crewe... so that's what I got - on these oval is Brush (oops)... but as they're flush and will be bathed in blue paint, I think I'll get away with it. oval plates on a diesel cab side are a pig to fit straight - second one fitted and left on 5th attempt... but happy now.

      I wont tell anyone! They do look rather easy to distort. I'll have to find my paint stripper before attempting to fit them on the one I've started. Not too sure where I've put that. It might be in store along with my cellulose thinners. Don't tell the storage people!
