Colas don't have it anymore I don't think. When ETL gave up they stopped leasing it I think, the poor engine is out of action in Barrow Hill

Only out of action because it needed GSM-R with the other electrics. With no operators interested in AC traction it's not worth paying for GSM-R to a loco for it to sit idle.

Double 56 on 6Z70 Ribblehead-Chirk today, but didn't get to see it. Obvious rumour is that the Carlisle-Chirk will go to two grids via the S&C so that it can load up to the normal 20/21 allowed for a 66.

Rescuing the failed 66596, driven by F/L staff apparently.

DRS driver joined it at the staff foot crossing on low level next to Warrington PSB.

Failed north off Preston in one off the loops, so two 57's sent from Carlisle to work service forward into Fiddlers Ferry and return to Carlisle.

This wagon passed Manchester Piccadilly this morning, in a CWR train off Merseyrail Northern Line.
