    Only 5 more weeks until Model Rail Scotland in Glasgow and handing over of my 6x Murphy Models 220 from Charlie Petty.

    It's been decided upon, Athlone by Shannon Divide will be set in 2002. Stock in hand is now 9x Class 141, 4x Class 181, 20x Cravens and 4x Mk2a.

      Hi Gents, apologies for the massive delay in replying. Only seen both comments now. Thanks for the welcome and offer of support. Yes, it'll be true Irish-P4 21mm gauge. Stock, all IE ara, since starting buying in February, stands now at 13x Class 141/181, 20x Cravens and 4x Mk2a. Regards, Michel

    Many thanks for grabbing that nice BCC limited edition Silverlink 150123 off eBay for me !!!

    I play guitar too BTW. My main pride is a Crafted in Japan 1997 limited edition John Jorgenson "Hellecaster", #0018 of 0500.

    Hi Jo. Still love them, and will always do. Just too many factors against, too many things I desire that don't fit in, and a choice to do a more manageable and affordable project. There's a reason I had not started to build yet, apparently. ;-) Westbury and Merehead are just too big to model. Whatley maybe so, but neither fullfill other desires. Some 59's are still welcome on the odd railtour !!

    Hi Jim. I've decided to abandon Shedcombe-upon-Frome altogether. Having gotten to know so much more about the UK and the UK railway scene ( now and then ), I have developed a strong desire to model something ( mostly ) prototypical, to exact scale ( no compression !! ), with running scenario's of a few different years within the time frame 1970-2009 ( 4 or 5 years, if all applicable ).
