A few ongoing projects being worked on
Now transfers have arrived from Railtec, (nice job Steve) one side has been applied.
I don’t know about you but I tend to work on one side, let it dry then varnish so I don’t run the risk of damaging them when doing the other side.
Another wagon has appeared in the roster and that is a Python covered carriage truck.
Waiting for couplings, glazing, roof fixing then decorations

What will the next collection of locos be? How about a dozen Prairy tanks .
Not sure if I am honest, transfers have arrived for the WKT so that should take account of one day!!!Then……?
What do you think I should work on next?
Lets start a new trend.

Talking of panniers and Strathwood Publishing have 50% off Pannier Papers No. 2 , making it less than six sheets.
Thanks for the heads up but I have them all.
It’s Prairie Paper No 3 that I am searching for still.

You have been warned
Your worst nightmare has been answered....
6 Panniers and a Puffer
Now please sit down and take a deep breath.
I expect it was the Puffer that threw you over the edge?

& @KNP Hiya both - please could you re-send? It transpires there are a number of messages not reached me over the past weeks/months and similarly some of my outbounds not reaching their destination, despite nothing being indicated to the contrary in my email client. What I do know is that my inbox is constantly teetering either side of above the permitted limit (it does have some leeway above the advertised limit) on account of constantly receiving large attachments day/night, and it's not uncommon that I have to take out 2 or 3 hours just to clear down particularly heavy attachments just so the inbox can continue to - allegedly - function as normal. I apologise for that.
Steve
Thanks for the heads up about your new transfers for WKT.

Being a quiet bank holiday it was time for the WKT to make a dash along the main line being pulled by one of our friends......the Pannier
Close up the business part of the set up, probably the most interesting bit I have ever built with special thanks to Mr Wolf and his pump design that made it possible.
Just waiting to hear from Railtec about the transfers, been a while now.

Yes. Haven’t been seen for a while.
True.
My favourite GW loco, after another if I can find one, but they seem to be rare as hen's teeth. 4825 I brought new as an advanced order from Hatton's and 4820 of flea bay for £40 a few years ago.
I have two Airfix ones but not in the same league for looks.

We’ve not seen a mix of locomotive types. Do the Panniers and Prairies not get on?
I have to store them in separate boxes otherwise they squabble…….

Open cab pannier 2776 has now moved to the completion phase as she now has her spectacles!!!
Turned out to be a pleasant build and well worth the effort to build those stepped brake rods, though motor less she will grace the ranks of LM static models.
I understand the crew have spoken already to their union representative asking to be relocated as they argue that why are we here as this model doesn't function so doesn't technically need a crew?
Therefore all they are required to do is stand there and look useful! They might as well be a static model themselves?
