Mia was most interested in my rummaging, more than likely because although I've not (yet) found the decomposed corpse of any of her rodent captives brought in from the garden, their occupation in the space whilst still alive is apparent.

Looked it up to fact check and can confirm The Purple One did indeed write and produce.

Additionally, I always really liked what was done with the snare drum on the track. I don't know the production terminology but I could replicate it on a capable mixer by adding echo (reverb?) and dipping and returning the volume fader a split second after the drum was struck.

I'm not a fan of double tracking vocals and self recorded BVs, but the track does it so well it's remained a piece of music I've adored since it's release.

Nice pics Jim, hope you and the lad had a good time. Did you ask around for advice about your own FTO?

I must admit I'd have spent the entire day slobbering over Skylines, S2000s and those new pointy NSXs. Heaven!

On the basis I enjoyed Ghostbusters: Afterlife immensely when aired on Good Friday I went to the pictures to see Frozen Empire today...yeah, not so great.

The knowing winks to the audience that remembers the 80s original seem laboured in comparison and the noobs to the franchise are a little too comfortable with their roles this time around to engage on a journey with.

Phoebe is still obviously the brains of the operation, but for plot purposes is sidelined. Her mother still has a rather odd relationship with her kids and Paul Rudd is just glad he's not making Marvel Ant-Man B movies.

Afterlife is excellent GB fare, if you must watch Frozen Empire, you'll not miss anything waiting for it on streaming or terrestrial imo.

I pushed the button on Rise of the Ronin this morning and have had an hour or two on it.

Right now I'm thankful I saved myself a fiver off the price via PSStars earned credits because I'm finding it hard going. Maybe it's an age thing but getting to grips with the parry/dodge/block mechanic is proving to be frustrating, although I'll persevere.

Additionally, review opinions on the look of the game appear to be correct in terms of the game lacks the graphical finesse of that to which I've become accustomed. It does indeed look and play like a title made over a decade ago, which is a concern for a game retailing for seventy quid RRP.

On the play side I'm reminded I had my ass handed to me multiple times in Ghost of Tsushima before it clicked so aren't necessarily concerned about that, but as it was either RotR or Dragons Dogma 2 that I had an eye to buy, it needs to improve rapidly before I start to regret buying the wrong game.

I really like the FTO aesthetically, a very pretty car. Mechanically, it's fwd so is it essentially an Eclipse in a sporty coat? Anything shared with the Colt?

Unsure if they're supported by main dealers but seems to be a relatively popular grey import so specialist part stockists shouldn't be hard to find.

What I found particularly odd in terms of protection of the supporting structures, was that there appears to be two islands constructed each housing one extremely tall electricity pylon.

I very much doubt the US is as finicky about "spoiling" it's engineering landmarks as the UK is, but I was left wondering why perhaps more substantial maritime traffic protection wasn't incorporated at the actual bridge supports that could have included pylon bases.

I perhaps should point out both the islands are on on one side of the bridge, and not the side the ship collided with iirc.

"Best" is subjective, I believe Blue Monday remains the biggest selling 12" to date. Not forgetting of course it was largely Trevor Horn's (yeah, him off Buggles) production that made it what it is. The kernel of a great track was there of course, but like Frankie's Relax it took a talented board maestro to make the most of it.

Personally, in the genre, I'd rank Stakker Humanoid or the self titled LFO waaay above any KLF output, which on reflection seems as if it purported to 'stick it to the man' but just made mediocre dance-pop. I never rated MC Bello much either unsurprisingly.

Hmm...a 12" I immediately regretted purchasing once I got it home and plonked the stylus on it. I suppose at a stretch it's barely improved with age? But whilst the Tammy Wynette JAMM remains a banger I find it difficult to be enthusiastic about much else in KLFs back catalogue. Especially given the, better made, recorded material by other artists at the time and the duos disregard for the art form by sending the income garnered up in smoke.

I empathise Michael, but let's not run away with ourselves here. Owning a trackable mobile is a consumer choice, we're hardly in the territory of mandatory bodily chip insertion or "papers please".

I have actually had CID around to check my WiFi router after a serious sexual offence occurred locally. Frankly if crims are dumb enough to not turn off their phone and it leads to a conviction then I'll take it.
