  1. Just wondering if Kato are planning on releasing the Class 800 in other liveries apart from LNER and GWR? Also do the internal lights have stay alive capacitors fitted? Many thanks Chris
  2. Has Farish ever produced a class 45? Many thanks, Chris
  3. Thanks just wondered if there is anybody who is in North Birmingham who is able to do some basic maintenance on my N Gauge layout such as cleaning the track check the locos that sort of thing and getting it running properly. Not used it for 18 months. All the best and thank you. Best Chris
  4. Just wondering if anybody knows of anyone who can help me with my N Gauge layout regarding getting the layout to run properly and look at my locos? Unfortunately being a key worker no time to enjoy this marvellous hobby. I am based in North Birmingham. All the best and thank you. Best Chris
  5. Many thanks everyone this has been really useful advice so thank you. Best, Chris
  6. Many thanks Gents much appreciated great comments and very helpful. Best, Chris
  7. Many thanks Gents and thanks for the very helpful comments above. I will try Railway Modeller and if not revert to ebay. Best, Chris
  8. I am thinking of moving, however I have a wonderful modern image layout which fills most of the garage. Is there a market for selling a house with a model railway ? I am based in the West Midlands. If so how would one advertise? Many thanks and best Wishes, Chris
  9. Many thanks everyone for the comments above which are much appreciated. I will clean the wheels and see what happens first. All the best, Chris
  10. I have just bought a rake of BR Blue and Grey 1st Class Pullman MK 1 Coaches, which are very good. However I have noted that the lights in the coaches are not as bright as my other Pullman Coaches. Also on the BR Pullman coaches the lights are very intermittment, they come on they go off. I don't have this problem with any other coach with lights in them when they run over the same track. As this is the same for all 7 coaches just wondering if there is a fix? Also, as I have purchased the BR Blue and Grey Pullman coaches and the Night cap Bar, just wondering if Bachmann produced any other coaches in this range I could add to the rake? Many thanks, Best, Chris
  11. Many thanks Charlie much appreciated. Great wagons.
  12. Many thanks Dave, I must admit whilst the FLA's are fantastic wagons the Hunt Elite couplings don't seem to work very well with the FLA's. On my 10 set (20 wagons Train) after gluing the magnets into position so they don't dislodge (because of the weight of the wagons) on my large Radii curves the wagons de-rail so unfortunately I have reverted back to my NEM Sockets for now. All the best, Chris
  13. Here we have another video of a rake of STS Wagons fitted with Hunt Couplings
  14. Just fitted the Elite close couplings to my rake of PCA's really impressed, the train seems to run a lot smoother which is another great bonus. Anybody tried fitting the Hunt couplings to the superb Real Track FLA's? Whilst the FLA's are great, I cant seem to fit the Hunt couplings which seem to snap and break off during fitting. Greatly appreciate any thoughts ...., many thanks. Best, Chris

  16. Thanks David I was in two minds at first I bought the Polaroid Cube + but it didnt charge then I purchased a Banggood Camera which I couldnt understand. So I opted for the Hero Session 5, which I am very impressed with. A lot of different possibilities which I had never thought of previously. Its such a shame that no one produces a cheaper compact mini camcorder now, I assume the reasons above explain why.
  17. Many thanks Dungrange much appreciated my apologies I posted the wrong link for some reason, all the best. Chris
  18. Sorry wrong URL, please see link in the following posts; Best, Chris
  19. As requested I have shot a video using my Go Pro Hero Session 5 on my high level layout York, this should be in 4 K. As a complete novice to photography I am amazed at how easy it was to create a 4K Video. I think this is the best mini camcorder, I gave up on the Bang good camcorder as it was too complicated to operate especially in Chinese. All the best, Chris
  20. Many thanks everyone I am hoping that with Go Pro Hero Session 5 we can upload and view in 4K. Although I am really confused as to the SD Card we should be using any thoughts would be much appreciated. All the best, Chris
  21. I am afraid I have Given up on the Banggood camera it is very hit and miss. Instead I have now purchased a Go Pro Hero Session 5 with Wifi. It seems to be comparatively easy compared to the Polaroid Cube + (which didn't charge) and the Banggood Mini Camcorder which is too complicated and really difficult to connect. I will upload some video's to You Tube in the next few days using the Go Pro. Thanks for all your help Karl much appreciated. All the best, Chris
  22. Bachmann DRS Class 37 triple Headed on my layout Blakedown hauling a rake of 21 weathered PCA's. On the lower level 67024 hauls a rake of STS PCA's •Jun 20, 2020
  23. Just waiting for my camera to arrive from Banggood, thanks again Karl. Just wondering if the circular part of the camera as well as the base is magnetic? Also as I want to film in front of the train just wondering what the best wagon is to place it on? Many thanks, Chris
  24. Many thanks Gents, happy to review with my limited technical skill. Tried the Polaroid Cube + but unfortunately we couldnt get this to charge so returned it to China. All the best, Stay safe. Best, Chris
