  1. Thanks for your appreciation, but which one do you mean. The lower layout has a US-flavour to it, but could easily be made to look more European.
  2. One of the very common mistakes is to put too much track in a given space, without leaving room for scenery, which is so essential for the "good look & feel" of a layout. Just as food for thought, here is a less crowded idea: The curved backdrop certainly adds to the realistic look. Or something completely different, though slightly larger than your footprint:

    it took me some time to figure out, how to attach the snow plow. I cut down the middle part part of the plow and glued it to the NEM receptacle. It is a quick and dirty way, which I would not do again. It is either the snow plow, or Kadees.

  4. A fantastic little layout with mind-boggling details and atmosphere.! I am eager to see more.
  5. An alternative would be to get rid of the trip pin completely, which you don´t need, unless you want to use the magnetic uncoupling feature. I use a bamboo skewer for opening the couplers - works nicely!
