  1. Replying to all, it's the HW2XX series hoppers from the 80's I'm interested in.

Have basic drawing of them (Barrowmore group) but the bogie drawing is lacking.

Whilst similar to many Gloucester bogies the upper part is level so I'm not sure there is a BR equivalent that could be used + they are quite a long wheel base (1753mm).

    Thanks.

Thanks for the info, I believe I might have spoken to Lorenzo at a show a couple of years ago. It'd be good to see a Cuban Duff, but since I'm now trying not to venture too far from the original plan the appearance of one would be stretching reality a bit too far.

This hasn't stopped friends pranking me at shows in the past when a 4mm scale green Brush Type 4 appeared on one of my Interurban layouts when I had my back turned, like this...

One of the T975's was on the Hershey for a while. On a siding at least.

  3. Cancelled,

It is with great regret that the EXE Model Railway Society has cancelled it's 2020 Exhibition.

I'm sure we all understand the reason.

Dates have been set for 2010, exhibitors and traders will be reinvested for 2021.

    Please be safe.

That book also confirms that the first 03 - with original cab - was squeezed from St Johns through Ryde Tunnel, but couldn't get back under Rink Road bridge on the Up Line.

As for the shunters on Ryde Pier, the photos below are the few I am aware of:

Class 05 - 001 the only one that made TOP's numbering.

  5. The Exe Model Railway Society announces that the 2020 Exhibition will take place at the Matford Centre 27th & 28th June 2020.

The existing Exhibition Manager has retired and Alan Barrow has taken up the position.

All enquiries should in the first instance be emailed to train@exemrs.co.uk.

The retirement does NOT apply to the running of the model shop which continues trading.

    Regards.
