  1. Hi Dave, Absolutely love those signals of yours. Thanks for posting the vids Now to make them track circuited eh? Stu
  2. More magic photos Dave Have you had any chance to take a video of your signals in action yet? Cheers Stu
  3. Thanks for your quick reply Flood. Those are good descriptions of the coaches thank you. As I'm in New Zealand it's a bit difficult to get good information on some things And I now realise it's a mk2e I have not the f Cheers again
  4. Hi All, I have a slightly unusual request: Does anyone have pictures of Scottish coaching stock from the 80s - more specifically mk2fs and mk3? Am especially interested in the interior of these coaches as I'm painting the inside of a mk2f and want to try and get the seats in a proper-ish colour! Thanks in advance Stu
  5. Dave, Yes I agree the glazing is not great - then again the Hornby ones aren't much better, as they use the old Lima moldings anyway. How long will it be till someone makes a better model of the mk3s?? It's a real gripe for me! With regard to the 107: I need to get into it to make minor adjustments to one of the lights, but I'm not sure how to open her up. Don't want to damage her! Do you have any pointers on how to do this? Cheers Stu
  6. Wow that sounds amazing (like the rest of your layout). Do you have a video showing them in action? I received my class 107 a few days ago and as you rightly say it is a very nice model - especially compared to my other old Limas! Here's a couple of photos of it on my local club layout: Don't know if you could stoop so low as to use Lima on your layout but their mk3s are pretty good and they produced them in the original executive livery with "InterCity 125" on the sides. I have a full 9 car rake and it doesn't look that bad. I'm sure with your skills you could make them look the part! Stu
  7. Hi Dave I am in the middle of purchasing one of those 107s so great to see yours working. Am very interested in the signals you are using. Are they fully operational? And would be great to see a photo of the signal panel for your layout if possible. Cheers Stu
  8. Hi Dave Just wanted to say what everyone else does - absolutely stunning layout, and wonderful photography!! Am interested to know if this is your first layout that you have made? If so, how did you develop your skills to such a high level? If not, I would be interested to hear about previous layouts you may have built and how the experiences helped you in this one. Cheers Stu
