Having Thomas & Percy out at the same time must have been very confusing for the Fat Controller!

Is there a makert for a P4 Thomas The Tank range?

The end will come when Vic is buried!
-
Could this be the beginning of the end, yes DOTTTE! with the final engine named Vic?

I've never seen a CIG with a 4-VEP driving vehicle before. Presumably it must have been a very temporary emergency fix by the depot.
There was 4VEP on the reading line with, if I recall correctly CIG driving car that ran around for a few years!

Alsthom have a 15 year contract to maintain the stock at Polmadie and Wembley

Cue oontractural wrangling, blame storming and coaches out of service for extended periods when problems occur!
-
No jobs for anyone in the UK then I am sure a company like Bombardier could build these coaches in the UK albeit England.

The busways may well be guided, however the people that propose and support them are misguided!

Nice to see the deluded Flat Earther's are alive and well. Where do this people get their stupid ideas from, the fountain of stupidity?
Marylebone has been already mentioned and look at it now a very busy and important link with the Chilterns and beyond! Even the burghers at DaFT do not go down tthis misguided busway anymore!

Trawling this thread Jamie and looking forward to seeing the finished EMU. Now about the sound chip for it

An NSE car stop sign at Burnham Bucks however it might well have gone by now as the GWML electrification work progresses.

Harking back to the WCML electrification even the DC Lines signals to be fitted with mesh screens to protect from from possible AC imterference.
-
The West Coast mainline electrification in the 1960's appeared to go go logically, smoothly and timely than the GWML scheme now!
I guess there were no boxes to tick etc, years ago - progress?

So the Class 800 is Maglev then

Looking really good Rich it seems a long time since you first exhibited your layout at Maidenhead!

There is an amazing new signal gantry (for a singe signal) June's west of Burnham (Bucks) Station on the down relief line. Basically a tube that must be at @ 300mm wide the is anchored at one end only next to the down main line that goes over the other lines with a few interstimg twists an turns and is probably the longest reach signal I have ever seen!
I was on a train earlier this week when I saw this, however I will try and get a photo of this strange looking structure and post it here!

This list just keeps growing and the more that is added to an already busy programme for DJM which in reality means some of the requests even if realistic could take years to appear!
Maybe Dave could provide a simple timeline of all the projects he is working on with projected dates for completion along with projects under consideration and projects that have been rejected. New items are then added as and when agreed by Dave. There will be limits here as business confidetiality is vital given the current flood of duplication of models which is occurring!
DJM, like any business has finite resources and a never ending want list can become unrealistic and impossible to achieve.

I have 4 of these hiding in a cupboard somewhere! Mainline B/G and maroon and Replica IC Charter and SR Green
These were to me were the turning point at which model coaches became far more realistic.

Got mine this morning looks good value. With regards to the guarantee Lidl by law have to manage returns so if it should fail take it back to your local store. The store i purchased my from informed me to keep the sale receipt in case of issues and that was before I read anything on RMweb.

I have to say that the new and rebuilt/lifted bridges between Paddington and Reading up are in the main pleasing to the eye! The Breadcoft Lane bridge in Maidenhead is nearing completion is of metal construction painted green and looks and much better than the rusting and structurally failing eyesore it replaced.

On a lighter note the Highfield Lane overbridge in Maidenhead has reopened for traffic and is far more pleasing to the eye than it's rotting predecessor!
