Station will be straight through for the main line so that should be OK. 6 foot long trains I like that.

Got two 2x4 boards made, more to do. Planning the station size now, but not sure how long the platforms will need to be? Will be running a very varied mix of trains. Along the lines of its mine and I just want to enjoy and have fun. The maximum length trains I will run passenger wise are going to be six carriages max. I would like to know the length end to end of these sets: Bachmanns Blue Pullman, Hornby 125 and 225. Based on the few carriages I have the Mk 4 seem the longest. Thanks. Did Hornby have short MK 3 early on?
