Hi all Recently I have had to help clear my late sister in laws collection of lilliput lane models and looking at them (most are quite small, maybe pass for N gauge) set me wondering has anyone else incorporated them into a layout? they look quite well detailed and should be available cheaply. I model in 00 gauge and was thinking that I might be able to incorporate one or two in the background to help 'force perspective' as highlighted recently on the great model railway challenge. I picked out a couple that would pass for the north of england, they seem to be mainly rural, cottage type buildings. Also again thinking back to the great model railway challenge then maybe an idea for next years RMweb challenge to build a layout incorporating a lilliput lane model, as you might be able to do a 2mm, 4mm or 7mm layout, with clever positioning.
