    Model in 2mm Finescale but appreciate good modelling in any scale.

  1. Where did 'smokebox dart' come from? Aren't they just smokebox door handles so why not just call them what they are?

      The dart then is on the inside but it's the outside bit that is being modelled!

      The head of the dart is inside the smokebox and the rod passes through the hole in the smokebox door with the handles on the outside. The inner handle rotates the dart, the outer handle tightens the door shut
