I agree - but instead of the pack I went for a more varied set of 5 - yes cost more but pleased to be able the enjoy these gems after the scare of the order cancel.

I had my entire order cancelled - so was very grateful to have received the email. If you give them the original 'cancelled' order no they are promising to reduce the item costs to the original asking price. So at least I can get the GWR coaches - maybe as others have said, the LMS one may appear. (Eternal optimism...) .. For me - one of the most unusual thing about this is that my original order included one of the GWR Boxed sets - which they 'Now' seem to have plenty of 🤨

Great new for the unlucky one amongst us with cancelled orders. Seems like there are a few Hattons cancelled pre-orders off their own that are being released on to the website. I do hope so. There is quite a long term plan to introduce new liveries.. (4 phases if I remember correctly). So at the moment I do not see any plans to do repeat runs of the obviously over subscribed liveries. In my case it was the LMS ones so I feel kind of stuck. Unfortunately this may mean that Hornby has a chance to step in and take away sales from these by all accounts superior coaches.

Next of Coaches Batch seems to be December 2023 :-( .. I have to admit that the cynic in me says there is more profit in selling the coaches individually rather than in a set...

I received the cancellation email yesterday morning (30th) - I was so disappointed/angry. - very wary about reordering - 16months plus eta - what's to say it won't happen again... .. I agree that perhaps it's the sets they are taking down - maybe to fulfil more individual coach orders. Hopefully yours will arrive - and lucky me has won the Hattons 'you did not want the coaches Really'... lottery..☹️

Best of luck longchap - and hope you get to see them. I too was well impressed the the quality and look of the coaches. .. But unfortunately for me Hattons have decided to cancel my preorder after 18 months with the good old .... "We have now received our finalised numbers for these models and due to the popularity of this project, I am afraid that we are having to cancel your order as we are unable to fulfill it." I could try reordering - but with a Dec23 eta, and this cancel causing a bit of a bad taste ... I may just have to put up with the Hornby ones..

So being a loyal and patient customer continues to have no value as my Pre Order for 2 Genesis coach packs, an LMS and GWR one has been cancelled by Hattons... ... ORDERED February 2021 ......... .. How is it they only say now - It does makes Hattons criticism about Hornby doing it to them have little value. Sorry - more than a little angry.... KevFisher
