Gone a bit quiet around here, appently the natives are watching some tribal conflict between St. Mark's West Gorton and Newton Heath LYR.

The object of the present task is to glue some whitemetal clasp brake shoes to the secondhand pipe wagon I acquired recently. Result so far is three in place, the other firmly fixed between my thumb and forefinger. Good job I'm proficient with the left-handed scalpel.

Am I in the right month? Still using our own tomatoes and salads, strawberries just turning red, honeysuckle in flower, blossom coming out on the ornamental cherry. Surely not on the edge of the Pennines in December.
